World Animal Protection fights for animals. Together with our supporters, we fight for a world where animal exploitation no longer exists.

Anyone who believes an animal doesn't feel pain has never seen a cow whose newborn calf is taken away. Anyone who believes an animal doesn't experience trauma has never looked into the eyes of an elephant on a chain.

Animals are conscious, which is why we must treat them consciously. We fight for a dignified existence. We put an end to inhumane practices and expose injustices. We advocate for different policies, even if powerful people are involved.

For 75 years, World Animal Protection has been giving animals a voice worldwide. Because animal suffering cannot be justified. We focus on structural solutions that make a significant difference for animals around the world.
