Emergency Giving

Help together in times of emergency!

With Emergency Giving, employees can contribute directly to people in emergency situations during a disaster. For each Emergency Giving action, we compose a relevant selection of charities. Additionally, donations are matched by employers, allowing your organization to make a difference together with your employees.

Emergency Giving has previously been used for various emergency situations, such as the war in Ukraine, earthquakes in Turkey & Syria, and earthquakes in Morocco and floods in Libya.

How does Emergency Giving work?

Employees can support Giro555 and related charities with a one-time donation through Emergency Giving.

Employers double these donations (matching). There can be a maximum cap set by the organization.

The employer receives communication materials (draft text and visuals) and a link for Emergency Giving, through which employees can easily and directly make a donation. This link can be shared directly with employees within and outside the Netherlands.
