LINDA.foundation gives families living in poverty a helping hand: they receive a set of gift cards that they can spend at various retail shops in the Netherlands. This makes it possible to celebrate the birthdays they have always wanted to celebrate, put some treats on the table at Christmas, or buy a new winter jacket, underwear or socks. Many families never need to worry about providing these essentials, but this is not the case for 11% of all children in the Netherlands.
