Stichting Vluchteling

Syria and Türkiye have been hit by a strong earthquake, followed by violent aftershocks. Stichting Vluchteling has taken immediate action in Syria with a focus on medical first aid and treating the many injured. For this purpose, mobile medical teams have been deployed in northwestern Hama. Since the start of the war in 2011, Syria has faced a disaster-on-disaster scenario: war, poverty, hunger, the spread of diseases such as cholera, and a collapsed healthcare system. The consequences of this terrible earthquake are added to that. Stichting Vluchteling is concerned for all victims of the earthquake and more than ever there is an immediate need for emergency aid, such as food and medicine.
