All organizations that went through the certification proces of Bcorp know it is quite a journey. I would encourage any organization to go through the proces. Here are 5 take aways.

✅ Use it to become better.
The Bcorp certification process in itself is a great way to improve as a company and become a better business for good. While answering the questions, there were many things we hadn’t thought of yet. We used it as a means to improve our processes and policies for what companies we buy from or how we can be a better employer for our employees.

✅ It is a marathon not a sprint.
It takes time, and there is always room for improvement. We started the process one and a half year ago, but it is worth it.

✅ You become more attractive for your customers.
More and more people and organizations look at ethics when buying from other organizations. Bcorp is a strong sign that as a company you care.

✅ It is a source of pride for employees.
Yup, we all think it is quite cool to work for a hashtag#Bcorp. Also recruiters will tel you people want to work for good organizations that make impact. Bcorps is a great place to start looking.

✅ It is a team effort.
